Into the Lavender Creases of Evening is a film about two friends - Nat and Jeremy - who take an end of summer camping trip deep in the woods. Once they are settled in, Nat reveals that she is going to end her life. Jeremy, unwilling to accept this, storms off into the woods. When Nat finally catches up to him, they stumble across a man dumping a body. When the man sees Nat and Jeremy across the pond, he gives chases. Over the next two days, they run, hide and fight, but can’t seem to get away from this man, who seems to be tracking their every move. After decades of ritualistic disappearances, a 14 year old boy returns early from the Ghost Woods early finding the town and his friends want nothing to do with him. Befriending the only girl in a town, they set out to end the tradition of disappearances, unraveling a lottery of lives and a darkness waiting just beyond the tree line. This is our spec trailer. We had fun shooting it, and though it took a lot longer to get the edit done, we are really proud of it. Now we just need to raise the money to make the real film!
